What is the big decision taken by Rupani government regarding opening of Pan-Masala shops?

Gandhinagar: The Rupani government has taken an important decision regarding small and big shopkeepers in the state. "Shops in all districts of Gujarat will be open from tomorrow," CMO secretary Ashwini Kumar told a press conference. All shops except malls as well as marketing complexes will be allowed to do their own business. Shops like stationery, spectacles shops, provision stores can be started. He also said that pan masala shops should not be allowed in the state. Other than that salons, spas and liquor stores are not allowed to open. He also said that only shops outside the content area can be started. No discounts will be granted in the hotspot area. Apart from that, a decision will be taken by evening which shops will not be allowed to start.

Ashwini Kumar said that it is mandatory to follow the mask and social distance in this shop. With 50 percent having to work with the employee. Shopkeepers will not need to pass. But shopkeepers will be required to keep with them the required clearance act license or other proof. The term of the managing board of state co-operative societies has been extended till June 31.

The central government has clarified that only a few shops have been allowed to open in urban and rural areas. Liquor stores across the country will remain closed until further notice, according to the home ministry. Apart from this, the ban on sale of tobacco and gutkha will continue as before.

The ban on the sale of alcohol, gutkha and tobacco will continue

Let me tell you, many states have banned spitting in public in view of the Corona transition. It's been a month since the lockdown began on March 25. At the same time, the sale of alcohol is banned across the country. A complete ban on the sale of alcohol, tobacco and gutkha will continue as per the guidelines of the Home Ministry.
Home Ministries exempted shops

The Home Ministry said in an order on Friday that from April 25, only shops registered under the Shops and Establishments Act will be allowed in all the states and union territories of the country. Stand-alone shops will be allowed to open along with street shops in municipal and municipal areas or neighborhoods.

The government has also given permission to open essentials shops in rural areas. However, the order will not apply to Corona's hotspot zone and the ban on opening all types of shops here will continue. Let me tell you that only shops with essential items were allowed to open during the lockdown. These include grocery, vegetable and fruit shops. Now the government has relaxed this rule.

The home ministry on Friday also ordered the closure of bars and clubs. A decision on this will be taken only after the end of the lockout. Explain that the Punjab government had sought the permission of the Home Ministry and said that liquor shops should be allowed to open. But the central government has rejected the Punjab government's demand.

Let me tell you that in the first phase of the lockdown, the Assam government allowed the sale of liquor in its place, but it was stopped from April 15 following an order from the central government.
